The drywall crew has been busy in the house trowelling on the drywall plaster onto the joints. It's done in stages. First the joints were taped, then the corner bead put on. Today they loaded the first seams, feathering out the dryall mud on each side of the joints. When they finished we kicked on the heat and the fans to dry it out for a few days. The crew will return on Monday to apply more mud, slowly building the joints until everything is smooth. Everything will be sanded nice and smooth as a last step. The first picture is from the hall entry.
The second shot is from the dining room back into the kitchen. The plywood panels on the wall are where the kitchen cabinets will be fastened into place.
The last shot is from the walk-in closet into the Master bedroom. Heavy duty fans will work all weekend through the house to remove the moisture from the wall plaster.
Within a week the interior doors will arrive and the first pf the paint will begin to go onto the walls. It is looking more like a house all the time.
