In my absence the crew worked hard. Hailey and Sarah fnished painting the three coats on the dining room ceiling. The scaffold had been removed too, finally giving us a true feel of the space. It is going to be very cool! I'll begin routing the moldings for the LED lighting this coming week. From the living room space the bridge ceiling arches look great!
In the dining room the full height of the room becomes instantly apparent. We'll finish attaching he lath for the diningroom/staircase tree this coming week making that space ready for the plasterwork. To get a sense of scale in this room note the patio doors are eight feet tall, much taller than normal.
The long, lower hallway is now ready for the plasterwork, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday. Elsewhere, the insulation is all installed, defining the interior walls and now giving us a clear size of each room. The house feels right.
I'm really pleased with the progress this past week and looking forward to the coming week.
