Today we did the last of the fiberglass reinforced concrete sculpting on the front of the house. The upper window roof facia and tapered plaster walls were tricky to say the least. The hardest part was to get at the parts while trying to stay stuck to the steep roof. Peter did the bulk of the work and by the end of the day was pretty tuckered out.
We also added more glazes to the trim on the big front window. But in the process we overdid it a little and the result wasn't up to par. THis meant we had to paint out the center portion and give it another go.
Tomorrow we hope to get it right and cut down the scaffold at last. Some days go like that.
