The Boughen boys are working hard each day to add the fnishing details to our dream house. Today they began work on the crown molding though the long center hallway. Because of the curved ceiling and the addition of indirect LED lightng along the entire length of the molding a few extra steps are required. Before the crown molding can be installed we had to first install a 3" x 1.25" board. This will space the crown molding off the wall and in the process make room for the lighting modules. An angled backer board behind the crown will provide a secure mounting point for the LED lights.

Tomorrow, the crown molding will be installed making it time at last for the LED's
