It was a very busy day in the shop. We finished the sculpting on Vala’s apple cider barrel and even managed to apply the bulk of the first base coat of colour as well. The paint really changed the look of the sign, much closer to the original concept. Tomorrow, another base coat will go on and by Friday we’ll start in on the first of the glazes. It won’t be long until this sign is ready to roll!
