While there is still a whole lot to finish at the Hazelnut Inn we are making good progress. Much of this current work is for the infrastructure that will never be seen by our future guests. The plumber now has completed most of the pipes that will be hidden inside the walls. Before he installed the hot water tank and other gear he needed some of the floor finished in the storage/mechanical room. Rather than doing only a small section Peter decided he would install the tile through the whole room. While most who tackled the tile would do something plain in a storage and backroom area, Peter went right to light speed, with a wide border around the outside and a lighter tile applied at a forty-five degree angle in the centre. It is all good practice for the much fancier tile work that will be soon started in the actual suites. Just imagine how nice that is going to be…
