Deliverance

Today was delivery day for the balance of the PNE features. Loading at our end was uneventful and quick. The sixty kilometre trip into the city went well as traffic was light. Once onsite, it took a few minutes to set up the crane and untie the load and then the real adventure began. It would be the first time all of the pieces were assembled. Jenessa and I did the untying and hooking up of the loads while the PNE crew did the assembly. In less than an hour the job was done.

All hands

The call went out for 'all hands!' today, meaning everyone needed to help with the heavy task. We were pushing the Bug Whirled tree from the shop in readiness for shipping on Thursday morning. Rolling the large and heavy features on the small dolly wheels requires a lot of effort. It is also a way of symbolic teamwork to truly finish a piece together as every member of the crew worked on it during it's construction. This piece, like every piece we work on pushed our bar ever higher.
