My job these past couple of weeks has been to do all of the design, routing, fabrication and basic assembly of the signs for the Vala’s Pumpkin sign project. I’m working on the last two signs now. Next week we’ll begin the sculpting process for the dimensional elements and figures which attach to the signs. The signs are great fun using just about everything we do in our shop. They will incorporate plasma cut and welded steel, fibreglass reinforced concrete, routed Precision Board and sculpting epoxy. And lots of creative painting of course. It’s going to be fun!
