We’ve designed and built many hundreds of dimensional signs through the years. They have been all sizes and shapes and of every subject matter imaginable. Many have won national and international awards. Most likely the most iconic and recognizable sign we’ve done is ‘Scoops’ a local sign for a gravel pit. The owner of the gravel yard called us one day and instructed me to build him a landmark. I came up with the idea of a robotic character with tractor buckets for hands. After a community contest to name the sign he was dubbed ‘Scoops’. We fabricated the welded steel character from scrap steel back inn 2004 and sixteen years later he still stands atop of that same large pile of rocks…he is a local landmark.
