We have a simple test for our projects while they are under construction: before they are finished someone must to stop and take a picture of them.
Today, while I was sculpting concrete at the Hazelnut Inn, I happened to spot a family taking a few pictures of the inn. I paused what I was doing and we had a quick chat. We talked about the project and also about the 12th scale models they build. As it turns out, they have been following the project since we laid out the footings. I asked their permission to take their photo while they took some pictures of the inn (which felt a like a little bit of an “Inception” moment for me).
This isn’t the first time this project has passed our test but it is nice to have a reminder that we are on the right track!
