My design project for today was literally out of this world. Our client asked us to imagine a what a mining operation might look like on the planet Mars. My mission was to be somewhat grounded in fact but to also use my imagination to make itl very fun for kids of all ages. It features a sluice box where kids sift out ‘treasures from the red planet’. It was a fun assignment to work on and if it proceeds will be even more fun to build…
A mammoth project
I spent my day at the design board designing a mammoth project - literally. It's not every day one gets to design a giant prehistoric elephant and in fact if this project goes ahead it will be the first mammoth we've ever sculpted - times two! It would be a ton of fun!
Submersive!
The glazes really brought the crab submersible model to life in a hurry. A little gold dry brush polished things off with some fun bling! The piece looks both formidable and well used. It turned out pretty cool!
