It’s exciting to transition from the construction phase to the touch-up phase of the Under Hill project at the Hazelnut Inn. The gas fireplace is now installed (and working perfectly). To complete this task, the custom rock work needed a little touchup. The planters have been weeded and turned over in preparation for new plants in the next couple of weeks. There are only 29 more sleeps until the open house on June 7th.
Pumpkin Eater complete!
Peter the Pumpkin Eater is now finished and will roll out of the shop tomorrow. As I was leaving the shop this evening, I took the time to admire the rich blends, shadows and highlights. Our painters really pulled out the stops on this piece! It will look great in the Storybook Land at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska!
Ceiling grandeur
Our crew have been busy installing the plywood backing for the vaulted ceilings in the Copper Crown at the Hazwelnut Inn. The grandeur of the space is quickly coming into focus. They will begin stapling on the diamond lath tomorrow, which means the sculpting will start soon. Stay tuned…
