The last shingles were sculpted today, making the large mansard roof section ready for paint. Behind this panel is the section we featured yesterday. The painters have lots of projects to keep them busy next week. Stay tuned for some beautiful colour…
Instant wall
It was an ambitious day as the crew tackled sculpting the roof and upper wall section for the right portion of the building facade for NEB’s Fun World entrance. We had sculpted the wood beams yesterday, leaving only the aged plaster to do on this section today. The bulk of today’s task was the many wooden shingles on the roof. As is often the case, Keith mixed our custom concrete, Peter and Matt applied the heavy coats and then the whole crew worked shoulder to shoulder to accomplish the sculpting before it turned to stone.
Master Matt
Matt is a true master of sculpting awesome woodgrains. Today, he sculpted the two dormer windows on an upper section of the large building facade for NEB’s Fun World in Oshawa, Ontario. The result, as always looked fabulous! Tomorrow promises to be a big day as the entire crew tackles the shingles of this mansard roof. Stay tuned…
