Down to the details

It is a busy time at the Hazelnut Inn as everyone works hard to wrap up the endless small details required to open this magical place. The gardens are being planted, watering systems are being installed, and everything is being checked one last time. One of today’s tasks involved modifying the gates to accept the permanent digital locking hardware. Keith did a great job blending the required changes into the existing custom steel gates to make everything work perfectly. Only twenty-two days remain until the grand opening and open house on June 1…

QR magic

Marketing via the Internet is critically important for our business. It is simply, how things are done these days. There is always a steady stream of people stopping in front of our property for a closer look and most often they also take some photographs. We frequently observe them typing in our web address to find more information. We recently decided to make that task a little easier. We created a dimensional version of our QR code that instantly links to our website for both the Hazelnut Inn and Imagination Corporation. We installed the new signs today beside our regular signs. When people focus their cameras on our signs our website address instantly pops up. If they click on this digital link they are transported to our website. It will be interesting to track how much the web site traffic increases because of the QR code on display.

Outside the parking lot is getting full of finished sections of the entry soon to be bound for NEB’s Fun World. The sections of the wall are bolted to custom-welded steel frames to facilitate smooth and safe transport. These frames are currently on swivel wheels which drop away as the pieces are craned onto the transport trucks. Stay tuned for more progress…
