It was a busy day in the shop as we welded, wired and began the first rough coat of sculpting epoxy on Little Miss Muffet for the storybook area of Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. Miss Muffet is already shaping up to be a wonderfully fun piece! Stay tuned for more details soon…
Little Miss Muffet
We are fabricating a piece for one of the large raised planters in the Storybook Land of Vala’s Pumpkin Patch will be Little Miss Muffet. Access to this area is a challenge and so we are striving to make the piece as light as possible to make it a little easier for the installation crew. The feature will still have a welded steel frame but we will skin it with two coats of sculpting epoxy. I got a good start on the armature today and by tomorrow we hope to begin slathering on the first coat of epoxy. Stay tuned to watch this fun piece come together…

The chick in the egg and the rest of the sign are now ready for paint. While they do that work tomorrow, Keith and I will continue the armatures for the next two projects that will soon be bound for Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. Stay tuned for more…
