We are working hard, fabricating a new wishing well for the Storybook Land at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. Our goal is to have it in place before they officially begin their 2024 fall season. The welded steel structure and pencil rod armature are now complete. The roof is fully sculpted with the lower portions to be sculpted this coming week. This version is a little smaller in diameter to suit the available space more appropriately and sports a purposely sloped bottom plate to accommodate the sloping pathway where it will be situated. Freya's sign
Freya’s Egg Spinner sign is coming along nicely. The base colours and a second glaze are now on the sign. One more darker glaze will ready the sign for the bright colours of the lettering. It won’t be long until this sign and the other features are bound for Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. Stay tuned as this sign comes together…
Miss Muffet sculpting is finished!
With the combined efforts of much of the crew we managed to complete the sculpting of Little Miss Muffet and the giant pumpkin for the Storybook Land at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. It was fun to sculpt in many hidden details. We figured a famous figure like Miss Muffet would have an endorsement deal or two such as the custom sneakers with her initials in the soles of the shoes.
