I really enjoy mowing our expansive lawns. While I drive around and around the grass, I am afforded the chance to enjoy the hard work we’ve done over the last twenty-one years on our property and also dream about what is left to accomplish. Behind the Hazelnut Inn is a large hill that will eventually be the site of Peter and Hailey’s new house. That mound provides an awesome view of the back of the Inn which few people will ever get to enjoy. It makes me smile with every single pass.
Kabob!
The first section of our shop repaint to be finished is far enough to allow us to place the ‘jet kabob’ feature in the planter. I wasted no time. The little feature is heavy but our trusty forklift made the job easy and quick. Next week we’ll tidy up a few details and then the landscape crew can plant the shrubs to finish the project. It is good to see this project nearing completion!
Rockin!
The sculpting crew worked their magic turning the diamond lath into beautiful rocks. By the end of next week, the painting crew will be busy applying the colour to ready the garden for the landscaping.
