While I was busy designing customer’s projects and doing other chores today my CNC router was busy in the back room making dust... and some fun parts too. I of course couldn’t resist taking a peek now and then at the progress. Tonight, after supper I came back out to the shop to turn off the machine and I simply had to mock up the pieces of the sign and snap a picture. There is plenty to do yet on the project but it’s looking pretty cool already. Nothing says HOT ROD like big and little tires with a slight rake to the car. This little auto has the right attitude already.

Now the many pieces have to be glued up with plenty of handwork to be done. Then comes primer and paint. I suspect as always I’ll have to save this project as a reward for doing the more mudane tasks needed to be accomplished each day. Stay tuned in Yarrow...
