I am always amazed how a few coats of paint can instantly transform something into looking quite different from what it really is. The High Density Urethane suddenly looks very convincingly like wood. The same piece of Precision Board painted a silver or bronze metallic and then grimed up with a little faux ‘dirt and grease’ looks amazingly like an old casting that has seen many years of hard use. Texture combined with the clever use of paints and glazes does a good job of fooling the eye. The use of dimension , textures and color make for a dramatic presentation and a sign that stands out from the norm in a big way.
