The day was hectic, many tasks pulling me in every direction. It was one of those days when you keep really busy but wonder what was accomplished when the dust settled. Some progress was made on a few fronts however. I squeezed in two hours on the llama & alpaca sign, finishing the sculpt for the most part. I still want to tweak the ears a little but we are almost ready for paint at last. The two animals turned out looking quite lovable and cuddly - especially with the bandana my client requested. I hope they like the end result. Llamas and alpacas are pretty weird looking creatures, even in real life.
The sculpture will now cure for a day or two before the primer and coats of paint go on. The sign certainly dominates the shop. We had a series of visitors today and all were taken by the sculpt.
