The licence plate on our vehicles reas BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA for a reason. We live in a beautiful place.
One of the reasons we chose the tiny town of Yarrow was the spectacular view to the south of our property. we are located near the center of our small village and yet we are surrounded by farms on three sides. THe trees on the left are hazelnuts and the red bushes in the foreground are blueberry bushes of our other neighbors. The mountain is Vedder Mountain. My large studio windows and my desk face this vista. When we build our new house the living areas will not face the street, but rather the rear of our property and this very same awesome view. I never tire of seeing the constant change of light play out on the mountain. This same awesome view inspired the name of this journal.
In the last few days the mountain view has become much more colorful - as it does every year about this time. It is fall once more and I am loving every second of it.
I hope you too enjoy the view from my window.
