On the way home :)

I enjoy travelling and there are few places I've gone that haven't been enjoyable. This trip to Toronto was a good one. Along the way I met some great people, shared much knowlege and learned plenty. As a side trip I was privileged to travel up to cottage country to pay a short visit to my brother and his family. I got to see a teeny bit of Toronto and the surrounding countryside , 'enjoyed' parking on busy freeways, felt the heat and humidity of the summer and a whole lot more. It's been a lot of fun!

But as I sit in the airport my thoughts turn once more towards home. That is where my heart is, along with those I love so very much. I'm more than ready to go home once more.

I enjoy the excitement of travel and the roar of the jet engines as we blast off to each new adventure. But as much as I enjoy travelling and seeing new places I find each time I leave, I fall in love with where I live more than ever. It is the [erfect refuge for me, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas and comes complete with a sometimes damp but mild climate I most enjoy. I hope to do much more travelling in coming years but will be always eager to go home when the trip is done.
