Yesterday we were busy in the shop with lots of progress on a variety of projects. But I'll save those pictures for later. Right now I wanted to share a couple of pictures of the engine in full sunshine. We haven't had many days of sunshine lately.

The train is actually quite colorful. The rust paint makes the various materials we used on the project indestinguishable from the real steel ones. This thing looks so much heavier and older than it really is.

We've decided the train engine will make it's journey to Squamish late next week. I'm looking forward to the drive!
