Sample signs are a great way to learn new things. We have many examples around the shop. One I did a while back was this submarine sign. The purpose of the sign was to incorporate a bracket into the sign design from the start and not just tack it on afterwards. Inspired in small part by the old movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the sign was a fun one to build.

Much of what I learned in this old sub sign will find it's way into the mechanical fish project currently on the go. And a little bit more of course. :)
