Today the sunken ship wreck that will be located in the train tunnel was sculpted. It was dubbed FLOUNDER.
With the ship being named Flounder (after the little yellow and blue fish in 'Little Mermaid' it was only fitting that the figurehead be a mermaid. But seeing as this is a pirate ship it had to be a skeleton just for fun. The armature is in place and the bones will be sculpted next week before the paint starts.
This is going to look real cool all painted up, especially when it is put in place with its companion pieces and with a small mural on the wall behind it. Some dramatic lighting will make it even better.
As soon as the day's work was done Peter didn't waste any time and stroked the feature off the check list.
