The shop is plugged full of features being painted. It's fun to watch them being transformed from grey concrete to finished features. Captain Skallywag will appear to be a noble copper sculpture when we are done. The base coats are now all done as is the first of the glazes. Next week he'll get the last of the patina glazes to make him look suitably aged and weathered.
He'll look pretty cool perched high on the stand and will greet every guest who comes into the park.
