With each project we tackle our goal is to satisfy ourselves first, to take the build as far as it needs to go to make us happy. In doing so we find we always exceed our customer's expectations. The sign we were building today was a good example. I finished the first mine car sculpt with the miner hanging on tight. I was happy and it looked good but the back car suddenly looked lonely and more than a little empty. It needed a little something other than just a load of ore as per the original design. I called out for suggestions from the crew who were quick to chime in with their ideas. The winning idea was provided by Margo who suggested a burrow. It would involve a few more hours of work but it balanced the sign nicely and added a whole bunch of charm and humor.
