I was looking through some old family pictures today and came across one of one of our very early theme efforts. The pictures were taken of a parade float we built to promote an art gallery we owned at the time, circa 1984. The kids were about six and seven and eager to help. They were delighted to ride in the float in front of the whole town. Materials were basic in those days, wood, paper, bailing wire and some old golf cart wheels. The plane was perched on a homemade kayak trailer.
