We've begun the last piece to be shipped to Trinidad. (unless they decide they want a little more) While we still wait for a few measurements on critical areas we could start on the cab and front of the train. This time we had both drawings and the small model to reference which made things very easy. As with many of our pieces the first order of the day is the main structural frame. The final shape was formed in pencil rod and welded into a grid. Galvanized mesh was then tied into place. An epoxy skin will follow next week with a high level of detail hand sculpted in before it sets.
