Tomorrow afternoon the first of the guests for our Sculpture Magic Workshop will start to arrive. We still have plenty to do in order to get ready. While some of the crew worked on those chores the rest of us were welding madly on the target feature. We finished off the heavy structure just in time for our engineer to inspect the welds and bracing. He liked what he saw and signed off on the massive structure. That allowed us to dismantle the upper pieces and then button up the pencil rod frame on the lower portion. The piece is almost ready to send off to the galvanizers. We have a few more welds to finish off tomorrow before everything is pushed out of the shop and we make final preparations for the workshop.
