Our workshop is just over 300 feet back of the house. In-between is a lawn. I do my best to keep it trimmed and looking nice but there's the odd weed if you look close and a pesky mole or two seem to really enjoy living there too. Because we live in an area with a high water table no watering is ever needed and the soil seems to be pretty good - at least for growing grass. Each time someone visits, inevitably one of the first questions I have to answer is 'how do I manage to have such a nice lawn?' The answer is simple really. The key to having very green and lush lawn is to simply put a fence around it. That way the grass appears much greener on the other side.
