The weather was perfect for painting today and the crew made great progress laying on the paint and glazes. They came close to finishing but we decided the shields were a little too dark and so it was back to base coat on them. We'll make another attempt to get them perfect tomorrow along with the last of the glazes on the bottom of the ship. Hopefully by noon this first half of the ship will be done! Then it is on to the next.
