One of the subjects I am speaking about at the sign conference in the fall is how we successfully market our dimensional signs. I fully expect to hear someone comment about how it is easy to sell quality signs where I live but they couldn't do it where they are. But they really have no idea of how things really are. The reason is that we live in Yarrow, a tiny village of only 1,500 people. It is a fabulous place to live and work but the 'downtown' is only one block long with about a dozen businesses. We live at the east end of the downtown on this same block but still have farmland adjacent to our property. Besides our sign there are only two others which we created. While many sign makers fear the internet because of the competition they face online we embrace it wholeheartedly and use it to market our unique and quality product.
