I generally do two sample pieces for the International Sign Association EXPO and this year will be no exception. The first is for the Sign Invitational competition. The second sample is created for our good friends at Coastal Enterprises for their display. The piece is created using the Precision Board high density urethane board which they supply. I wanted this one to be a companion piece to the Sign Invitational sample. I love the steampunk style. I also wanted to take a slightly different take on a relatively common theme and so the piece is a giant clock viewed from the back side. It was my desire that the sample carry a special message which we embrace in our shop and promote to other sign makers.
