Today, we loaded our trade show booth into the semi-trailer and sent it on its way to the trade show in Florida. All went well. Each time we load up a project the feelings are the same. We are a little anxious about the process of loading. Will it fit into the trailer as planned? is the load balanced? Have we engineered and fabricated the lift points securely to easily handle the rigours of the shipping process? Is every single thing we need packed into the package? Will the project fulfill its expectations? And many, many other things as well. It is always exciting and yet a little sad as we send our projects on the way for they have been a large part of our daily lives for many days, weeks or even months. A lot is riding on this display.
In about four weeks we will travel to Florida, a couple of days before the beginning of the very large trade show. Hopefully, everything will have arrived in good shape, the display will be placed perfectly in the booth space (as per the BIG diagram on all sides of the display packaging). If not we’ll quickly set a plan in motion to solve all of the challenges and then we’'ll showcase the magic we create in our shop. That effort will then bring more exciting projects so that the creative and shipping process will begin anew.
