As we carefully tie the many sheets of galvanized mesh to the welded steel armature the giant creature is quickly shaping up. It seems to get bigger every day! The bulk of the main undulating form is now finished and we’ve made a great start on the more finicky supporting timbers below. While we would have loved to do the difficult bits first it is best if you wire from the top of the armatures towards the bottom. Pretty soon we will be doing the hand sculpted concrete.
