Forty years ago, when I was in my mid twenties the first Star Wars movie was released. I remember it clearly. And then the second movie and third and fourth and… All through those years I thought it would be so much fun to actually visit this kind of wonderful place and partake in those exciting adventures. Now, Star Wars Land is very real and we can actually visit. It is so much fun! As we walked around this new land today, rode the Millennium Falcon and volunteered to become part of the resistance I enjoyed seeing three generations of people immersing themselves in this great story. Being in this land instantly allows you to suspend your disbelief - at least for a little while. The older crowd (like me) was young again, reliving those adventures we enjoyed so long ago. It’s not often grandparents, kids and grandkids can all truly enjoy the same thing but here we saw it happen all day long. It made us smile.
