If you were to follow us as we visit a Disney park you would observe that I look closely at many things the average guest might not even notice. The questions I constantly ponder are how, what and why? What tools and techniques did the creators of these projects employ? What materials did they use? Why did they do things this way? Nothing happens by chance at Disney. The designers were trying to tell a story in a logical and straightforward manner while still hiding some fun surprises for guests along the way. One of the attractions we visited today was the Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train. The woodwork in the many timbers throughout the attraction is nothing short of amazing. What most guests don’t realize is that it is all hand sculpted concrete. Someone ‘in the business’ can learn plenty just way walking through this attraction. I certainly did and it wasn’t my first visit.
