It took a whole lot of effort to slide the steel Copper Crown garden door off the welding table and stand it up on end. This thing is HEAVY, even without the back panel of the door welded on and the boards inserted into the middle. All that weight won’t matter once it is mounted to its hinges and hung in place. We have built heavier ones in the past. It was great to finally get a good look at the dragon with the proper light shining from above. I welded about half of the rivets in place by myself but will need a helper for the balance. We have to leave the project aside while we take on some customer’s projects but it won’t be long until we complete it. Stay tuned…
