Work on this year’s signs for Vala’s Pumpkin Patch is in full swing. The latest pieces to come off the MultiCam CNC router are the heavily textured wood grained boards for the Mining Supply sign. This is going to be a giant piece by the time we are done. The letters for the sign are raised slightly and will sport a suitably weathered finish. While the boards will look like 100 year old weathered wood, the sign will actually be sculpted from 30 lb Precision Board. We’ll fake the weathering and bleached wood colouring by hand and the signs will last a whole lot longer than real wood. The gorgeous woodgrains are from our Wood Magic Texture Collection.
