The last of the painting was finished on the girl and donkey for the Calamity Jan’s Mining Supply today. The last strokes of colour brought the characters to life. The girl’s wide eyed expression is perfect and we can almost hear her telling that mule to NOT TRY ANYTHING! The mule is of course doing what mules do. Who will ultimately win? Who is the most stubborn? My bet is on the girl! We’ll let the paint cure for another day or two and then this piece will roll outside to join all the others. The shop is starting to get a little spacious for the first time in a long while. That will undoubtably change soon…
