Our plasma cut steel dino has been guarding the yard out front for quite some time. Up until today the grass grew right up to the log he was perched on. The challenge was to get up close with the lawn tractor as I mowed the grass. If I got too close to the metal dinosaur, the lawn tractor or I got nipped and he always left a mark. No matter how I tried there was no training of the dino, so the solution was to dig out the grass and put in some mulch around the log. You can bet I talked nicely to him and kept my distance while I did the work. Hopefully this solves the problem.
