The Hazelnut Inn is getting to be spectacular from just about every angle when you visit it in person. Taking photographs of what you see in person is difficult however because of the scale. in most cases you simply can’t get back far enough to take it all in without a super wide angle lens or do a panorama shot which distorts things in a big way. It is going to be challenging to photograph when we are done. The Under Hill garden is one such area. This past week I was looking for a shot that captured the front of the building with the tree and grass on top of the roof. After trying a few places around the garden without much success I discovered the best place to photograph it was on a tall ladder from outside the eight foot tall garden wall.
