Back when we were planning the Hazelnut Inn, drawing the concepts and building the scale model, we were proud of our efforts, thinking it looked pretty good. We knew there would be a bunch of changes and adjustments along the way - as there always are. As we worked on the infrastructure, we would often stand back, squint our eyes a little to imagine how it would look when e were done. Gradually, over the last months things have come into clearer focus as we finish each area. Now as we continue to apply and sculpt the concrete to the various pieces, that early vision is coming into sharp focus. What we see is pretty cool and it is making us smile!
