While the young grand kids absolutely love to help around there shop it is often far too dangerous for them to be there. The solution is to have some projects they can do by themselves. We glued together some old boxes and dug out the waterbed paints. Then we let the kids pick out some real brushes from the tool box. They spent many happy hours painting coat after coat of paint on the cardboard tower. In the process they had a whole lot of fun and learned some valuable skills that will come in handy when they get a little older.
