We like to think of what we do as visual story telling. Going through one of our projects is much like reading a book. Rounding a corner and coming upon a new scene is much like beginning a new chapter as you read. In the case of the North Star suite of the Hazelnut Inn there are many such reveals. The first is from a distance as you approach the building. You quickly get a sense of the scale of the story and brief glimpses of what it is all about. The ship overhead, the exotic architecture and so much more. As you enter the garden from below you are instantly transported to a far away place with the rock work and lush vegetation. As you walk up the winding stair case you feel the rushing water and the first of the giant artifacts from a tropical jungle. We are introduced to our heroine a few steps further. As you round the next corner we get a better glimpse of more exciting adventures with the giant rune stone from the lost city of Atlantis to the left. The giant head that sleeps up ahead takes a moment to notice, as it is that large and will be somewhat hidden in the dense foliage. The next chapter… that’s to be revealed as you round the next corner…
