Happy holidays!

Relaxing time off with little to do is a hard thing for me to handle. I really enjoy time with family. I’ve enjoyed helping Janis prepare meals, with the shopping and getting the house ready for guests. I’ve even attempted to sleep in much more than usual. The plowing of the snow in the driveway has used up a little more of my off time. And we’ve done a little shopping online. But we are taking the whole week between Christmas and New Years off from work so there is a bunch of time still left to fill. My mind races as I contemplate the many projects that will begin next week in the shop and beyond. A couple of email enquiries hint at other exciting projects for the new year. My laptop which I use in the house crashed and burned permanently the day before Christmas. (replacement is officially on order) That means my only access to a computer workstation is out in the studio which is officially off limits (for the most part). I’ve have loaded some drawing programs onto my iPad which will get me by in those moments I need to sketch out and record the many ideas that fill my head. Burning questions like how might we build a pumpkin eating dragon fill my brain. Drawing helps me relax a tad which just might get me through the holiday. :)
