It is a requirement for a proud grampa to talk up his grandkids. As required by grampa law, I’ve got pictures handy in my phone at all times and I’m not afraid to whip the phone out and show off those prized images when the opportunity arises. Our fridge is covered in awesome artwork they’ve done. But every once in a while one of the kids will do something remarkable that bears special mention. Juniper, now five years old, has long enjoyed crafts, drawing, and colouring. Lately she has taken to watching youtube videos of someone creating a project. She then rushes to her craft table to duplicate the effort. Yesterday, she created this clever beauty, all on her own. It’s a present drawn on folded paper which opens to reveal the puppy which is hiding inside.
