Post office adventure

Mondays are always busy in the shop as we catch up on all of the things that need doing and also get ready for the busy week ahead. Henry came to help this afternoon. We boxed up the little display drums, taped on the shipping labels and lugged them to the shop door. They were heavy, weighing in at nine pounds each. The prospect of Henry and I walking all that way to the post office (two blocks distant) while carrying the heavy packages was daunting. Taking the car seemed wasteful. That meant only one solution remained. We fired up the lawn tractor and hooked up it’s trailer. Henry volunteered to sit on the trailer, all by himself and mind the packages while I took care of the driving. We had a great time on our adventure.
