It is always an exciting day when we can take down the scaffolding. Working up high always takes much longer. Paint and equipment needs to be lugged up ladders. Every move needs to be done carefully. Safety harnesses and other procedures must be adhered to to keep everyone safe. All of that slows down the progress. Today, at last, a bunch of scaffolding was removed from the front of the Hazelnut Inn. Tomorrow, if the weather holds, more of the painting on the North Star tower will be completed and the whole top level of scaffolding will disappear for good. That will be a happy day!
